Eddie is a network approved showrunner with over 25 years of experience, including a wide range of field and studio production. He has Executive Produced shows starring WANDA SYKES, ROSEANNE, RYAN SEACREST and RANDY JACKSON. With an eye for talent, and some time between shows, Eddie also helped launch the career of comedian ADAM DEVINE as his first manager.
EOP produced the reality series SHIRTS & SKINS for MTV's Logo network, centered on an all-star gay basketball team in San Francisco. EOP also produced Logo's weekly stand-up comedy series.
Speaking of fun, Eddie was Executive Producer of THE WANDA SYKES SHOW, a late night comedy show for Fox starring comedian Wanda Sykes. He previously collaborated with Wanda as EP of her comedy/reality series WANDA DOES IT for Comedy Central.
EOP developed and produced the comedy/reality series TOMMY LEE GOES TO COLLEGE and VH1's critically acclaimed BANDS REUNITED, the reality series which reunited popular bands from the 80s including Flock of Seagulls, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, The Alarm, Squeeze and Kajagoogoo.
Eddie produced HBO YOUNG COMEDIANS SPECIALS hosted by DANA CARVEY and DENNIS MILLER, featuring talent including JUDD APATOW, DAVID SPADE, and RAY ROMANO. He also produced primetime specials for ABC, including a reunion special of THE BACHELOR.
Early in his career, Eddie launched the late-night series LATER WITH GREG KINNEAR for NBC. He was showrunner of that series for three years and continued producing LATER with guest hosts including Rosie O'Donnell, David Alan Grier, Jon Stewart and more. The following year, he launched the syndicated ROSEANNE talk show as its Executive Producer.
Eddie is also a successful multi-cam Director. Additional for-hire directing gigs include the game shows YOU BET YOUR LIFE with JAY LENO (360 episodes) and i-WITNESS (created by JUDGE JUDY) as well as the e-sports HALO CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES. He's also directed over 1000 episodes of DIVORCE COURT, 500 episodes of ITV’s AMERICA NOW, GSN LIVE and competition reality series including HGTV’s DESIGN WARS.
